Effective September 23, 2026. This policy describes the To Stupid To Quit forum and Random Chat feature. Other tools installed on the WordPress site, including the contact form and spam protection, may have additional data practices.

Information you provide

Forum topics display the name and text you submit publicly. Forum replies display your name and text; WordPress also stores the email address, network address, and browser information associated with a reply, but the forum does not display them. Posts and replies may remain available until removed by the site owner.

Random Chat

We use a temporary session token and a keyed hash of your network address to match people, prevent abuse, and handle reports. Your browser sends text messages and video connection signals through this website. Those temporary payloads are encrypted in the site database. This is encryption at rest, not end-to-end encryption.

Video and audio travel between participants through your browsers when a direct connection works, or through a configured TURN relay when needed. The plugin does not record audio or video. A person you connect with can see or record what you share using their own tools. Peer-to-peer connections may reveal network address information. Video connection services may process technical network information.

Activity history, reports, and retention

Administrators can view an activity history grouped by a keyed network-address hash. It records when topics and replies are submitted and when chats start, connect, end, or are reported. The history does not keep the text of unreported chats. Activity events are scheduled for deletion after 30 days.

When you report someone, the report may include your reason and up to 20 recent text messages. Administrators can review reports and block a connection. Temporary chat sessions and events are scheduled for deletion after roughly one day; reports are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. WordPress cron runs when the site receives traffic, so deletion may occur later. Server logs and backups may follow separate schedules.

Security and third parties

We use spam checks and may use CleanTalk if enabled. These services, a configured contact form, hosting providers, and video connection servers may process information needed to provide their services. The site uses security controls, but no online service can promise complete security.

Your choices

Do not post private information in public topics or share it with strangers. You can leave a chat at any time. For questions, removal requests, or requests about information you submitted, use the Contact page. Include enough detail to locate your content; we may need to verify a request before acting on it.
